Topic: New Home edition user with some questions

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Greetings everyone,

i am a new user with Hercules MK2, so my question is that how come i need to buy the proffessional version to be able downloading Hercules DJC Mapper v4.2, that's not fair, and i think that it should come with Hercules Mk2 Package.

Any advice where i can get more sampler to load inside virtual dj, or if anyone can share us with good samples, like intro, effects etc?

Is it possible to use VSTplugins with Virtual Dj?
and how?

In the downloads section, under other: you can go to samples and download.
Also you can make some of your own within VDJ.

Thanx i got some from the samples page, but i need something like Voices, speaking ex..
anyway thank you

Coolworld,
Welcome as a new home edition user :)
we ask that when users have a series of questions that they confine all questions to one thread, rather than opening multiple threads, it means we can take you more personally whilst keeping a nice clean forum ;). All your questions have been moved into this thread, the others were deleted.

Yes VDJ supports VSTs, simply add the .DLLs files (and any other associated files) into the Sound effects folder, you'll need to restart VDJ for these to be seen in the effects section, now enjoy making all sorts of strange noises :).

As you know the Home edition is a free version, VDJ is a program which has been delevoped over many years and is the most advanced DJ software application on the market, so the features and stability justify the price, it wouldn't be fair if the FREE home edition didn't have some limitations. The plugins on this website are created by the USERS of VDJ, the user decides who has the right to use their material, be it a skin, effect or a plugin.

There are many benefits to upgrading and going PRO, and VDJ being so kind you can benefit from a discounted upgrade :).

I know that might seem very odd, but the reason is that the mapper uses functions not available in the 3.4 console version, so the mapper does not work with your version of VDJ.

That is the only reason for not making it available for console version users. If it worked, you'd have it..

Ok thanx anyway, my Virtual dj home edition does have a limit to expire?

no mate it will work for ever.
