Topic: Hercules MK2 Timecode clipping...

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have to say before I start... dispite all the hell you have to put up with in these forums, keep going, you are doing an incredible job.

I am using VDJ Pro and Timecoded vinyls through an MK2. I seem to be getting some clippage of the Timecode signal at higher volumes. I lose a few percent of signal every couple of seconds. As volume increases so does the frequency of clippage and the magnitude. At first I thought my needles were bouncing, but it happens at way to low volume for the sound to have any affect on the needles.

Is there a power consuption conflict between my turntables and my hercules/computer? Because it is a phono signal, the cause would be lack of power consistancy from the MK2 and not the power coming from the turntables, right? I am not running through a power conditioner. Any other advise is gladly accepted.

Thank you again VDJ Team.
