reason is simple, you dont have 100% timecode quality on the signal in.
Turntables ?
CD players ?

yea its turn tables....
what could cause it not to register any quality but still stop on the gui?
i have never had problems setting up my decks and mixer to other sound systems
i have been djing for over 13 years... clubs and pubs and hav also solved many problems on site.... and to make all this worse im a i.t engineer full time so you would think that i should be able to solve this no problem..... no such luck
could it be a ground problem?
is it because i dont have my mixer hooked up yet ( just one deck for testing)
i have both red and white mono leads into a converter going into my maya44 sound card
could it be a setting on the sound card driver or poss a setting in vdj itself?
again dj in norway you are the only one to respond with any usefull info and again i thank you

First, go to VDJ performance tab, move preset slider to highest, THEN set latency to AUTO
Second, connect your turntable ground wire to your PC.
Thirs go to timecode configurations, and choose auto config.
That should give you 100% signal
If its still not 100% it might be because your turntable needles play to hot/loud. So try lower the signal in, at the Maya control pannel (volum slider for line ins)
Also read this guide (a bit outdated, but has a few pointers)
http://www.virtualdj.com/products/timecode/
Hope that helps :)
