Hi there,
I am running VDJ on a Pentium 4 3Ghz processor with 512MB of memory but I only have a bog standard sound card and so even when I run VDJ on the fastest settings it sometimes struggles a wee bit and I get a slight dragging on some tracks.
I am considering buying a hercules mk2 but I was wondering if this would have any great improvement on VDJ performance or would it be wiser to purchase a better sound card and maybe another 512MB?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

yo id recomend you grab a pro copy of 4.2 from here
http://www.virtualdj.com/purchase/ , that will help stabilise proformances
and lets check some options :)
to improve proformance go to options > proformances
and choose fastest
untick overclock and safemode , and choose "autolatency"
extra ram is good it will help songs load faster
the console is a nice controler and soundcard aslo comes with console edition of vdj
which can be upgraded to to at a discounted price
