Ok...here's one for you.

In a couple of weeks time, i'm doing a karaoke disco. For the karaoke I'll be using a laptop (however, admittedly not VDJ). Anyway, the laptop goes to the monitor for karaoke. Cool, no worries there.

But i've also started dappling in VJ'ing, which means I'd like to hook up my gig machine to the same monitor as well and maybe use some videos during the gig.

How can i have two seperate sources of video showing on the same screen?

My thinking is just to get a scart junction box like this.

Any thoughts?

Cheers...and keep spinnin'...(",)

But are you able to control which input you want with that?? You could also just use a 2 way A-B switch.

I do exactly that, a/b/c/d box and switch around all the time. Works great.

On a slightly different note, but related to the topic...is it possible take the signal from one computer and feed it to more than one 'other' source? As in...can i run two/three/four external monitors from my computer?

I keep think about a great big setup with a light bracket round me supporting like 3 or 4 big monitors. With videos/karaoke on them, or split between the two...man, that would be soooo cool...:o)

Ideas a plenty? Keep them coming!!!

S'ok folks...i found this. Wouldn't need 8 splits, probably just 2, 3 or 4, but man, that would be sooo cool.

I'm sure there's a cheaper version of it too.
