Topic: Intermitant green stripe in videos!

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I usually use VDJ on my laptop, but i loaded it onto my home computer just to see how well it would work, and i'm amazed! really smooth video mixing and it's only got an intel shared graphics memory card.

The only tiny problem is that i get a see through green stripe down the middle of the VOBs when i'm playing them, probably appears for about a second, then disappears for a around a second or two and come back again. Any suggestions how i might get rid of this?

The stripe shows up in the preview window of VDJ and the video output window as well.

Any help with this would be great.

Thanks. :)

is hardware excelaration enabled on the video options?

yeah, but i'm not sure what exactly it does through, because it's only the standard graphics card that came with the computer.

It usually means your graphics card doesn't have enough memory. You need a more powerful card.

that's cool, if i decided to use it for work, i would have upgraded the video card anyway. Just wanted to know if that was the problem or something else.

Thanks. :)

its because its not rendering it right , can aslo be caused by bad codecs
