Hi im getting a really annoying choppy distorted sound when crossfading and ruining every mix. Its a very fast burring sound. I've also noticed it only happens after I alter the equaliser settings on the mixer. Ive tried several things including updating direct-x, removing the program and reinstalling, reinstalling after removing registry files, and altering various settings in the config menu and on the internal soundcard.
My laptop is a Compaq c310, 1.66Ghz Centrino Processor, 1 Gb ram, and a Conexant High Definition Sound Card, with only built in speakers and 1 headphone out, and 1 mic input.

Please someone help me because its cracking me up!

Its ok folks just sorted it thanks to another post in the forum. Turns out I just had to de-select the "safe mode" in the "Performance" part of config menu. That worked a treat.
