Is there any way to turn of the Virtual DJ ID3 tag parser? I installed it, but most of my files have unreadable titles, so I want to undo the installation.
Anyone else has this problem, or should it work correctly?

You can download the "New parser.dll" in the addons section. It is the same as the original dll, except that it performs better at reading titles... :)
All you have to do is to replace your current parser.dll with this new one, and everything should be back to normal.

You can also rename the file "parser.dll" to "parser.dll.bak" for exemple.
That's all.
That's all.

This is an old topic from 2004 and the subject covered is obsolete.
The above DLL is obsolete.
VirtualDJ has natively supported reading ID3 tags since v5.
Simply make sure that the tags in your files are set correctly using any ID3 tag editor of your choice.
