I was down in Ocean city, MD and went to my favorite club of ALL time, a place called "Seacrets" thats how its spelled. FRIGGIN AWESOME CLUB, best i've EVER BEEN TO!!!! ANyways, they have 4 rooms, a reggae room, a dj room with a couple bars, a straight up beach, and the :Night Club: room, which usually has bands play there. They have a movie theatre size projector screen in there, and what gets put up there, is a dude that walks around with a camera and a light, and what ever he is looking at, gets sent to the screen. I wanna do that, except, have the camera stationary, and make it a video channel in VDJ, so maybe say I play an MP3, thats what gets shown, and say if I have NUO4, I can "cut" the feed in and out while scratching the next song. Ya Dig???
Is this possible withthe software, ir will this have to be done with hardware, like a A/B switch??

pretty much,
you can plug a usb webcam into the program and have it automatically show up when you're playing mp3 files.
Not totally sure about cutting it intime with scratches, but if you were mixing between the live feed and a video file you definately could have the crossfader on the nu04 connected by midi to control the video crossfader to give that effect.

use an edirol v4. it'll give you more options to use vdj and the live cam simulaneously to the screens while you mix.
