Hi,

i have a question. I have sometimes problems with my MP3 console.

If I do any manipulations on my MP3 console (push prelistening button ex.), the song playing jumpes sometimes. Sometimes if i did a mix, and let the quiet song playing till at the end, that can cause also jumps. The peak announcement comes to a hold at the running song.

I tried out a lot of things with the config on my Laptop. All drivers who aren't used are switched off, the memory is optimized, i'm sure it isn't the configuration. have anyone a tip for me?

System :
Laptop Acer, Centrino 1.6 Ghz, 533 FSB, 1 GB Ram, XP
80MB HD NTFS, Songs are on a external USB (USB 2.0) 160 GB HD, NTFS
Soundcard Creative Audigy SZ 2, 5.1 PCMCIA

Audigy SZ 2 driver is actual, Hercules Driver also.
I use Virtual-DJ 3.4

Well, i did - no chance. I switched off all extras in windows, use a power-configuration, tweaked my lap where i could. I also reinstalled VDJ, the hercules driver and also reinstalled the SB-Card tried to change the configuration of V-DJ..i'm really confused.

I'm wondering also, that i get a VDJ Error-Message if i close the program.

I saw the IRQ-Story and saw also, that The soundcard is sharing the irq with the a usb port. Maybe the problem ?

One information before was wrong. My CPU is a Celeron, not a Centrino.
