Hi,
Does anyone have an idiots guide on how to configure the internal soundcard and a PCI one to get the two inputs required for use with TCV's?
If there is a guide in a blog somewhere or a simple guide it would really help me out.
Thanks
J

ok choose
Two Soundcards
choose the internal as the right , and the pci as left
then choose two timecodes
go to proformance
choose "autolatency"
then go to the timecode config
play the signal then double click autoconfig :)
should now be at 100%

Thanks - I've tried and the left deck works fine.
When trying the autoconfig on the right deck it comes up with "no timecode signal found".
I have the right on the internal soundcard as suggested.
Do you think my internal soundcard isn't working? I don't know how to check it.
Thanks
J
ps - your posting on controllers was a great guide.

Make sure you are not using the MIC In for the internal soundcard. VDJ TC requires a Stereo signal - MIC In is MONO.

Cheers, which colour should I be plugging the cable into?
It is currently in the blue one.
The others are yellow, pink green and black.
Thanks

Hi,
I've checked with the manual and the blue is the line in.
I can only guess that the internal soundcard isn't working and all the sound is set up to go through to the PCI card.
I don't know how to check if the internal is working so I'm going to get a cheap s/c from PC world tomorrow. They're about £12 and I'm hoping it will help.
Happy New Year.
Thanks

I've got auto latency selected but I'm only seeing one place to select it. Should there be a another place to select for the second card then?
