how do u sort ur sound cards out so i can preveiw through headphones, ;)

i think we have told you how 3 times now

but here goes again :-)

you need a 4.1 soundcard +

or with virtual dj pro you can use two cards

with a cheap usb card you can preview on one and listen in on another

to listen in just pess the headphone button for the deck you wish to listen 2
 
but my external sound card isnt usb it goes in the slot on the side ov my laptop. iv set it to 4.1 and 5.1 but it still dosent work. how cud i set my external soundcard as my main 1? sorry to be a bother, ;)
 
what modes can you choose on the sound setup window ?

i belive you can only use the console

you might need pro to be able to use it.
 
in my vdj or my soundcard? non in my vjd just able to tick the box with 'use headphones in 4.1' nothing else! and my sound card goes up to 7.1
 
could you take a screenshot of the options you have

its 3.1, its just the sound config page but all the pics hav (only avilable in pro)
 
alright so you have tried 4.1 with that card? and no luck?
 
yeas i have the sound card hooked up and have a one usb sound card for my monitor. its made by creative labs. In the settins you can select the cound card once you install a usb card it allows you to choose the card you select..then you can use thehead phones in the second card. if you get a 4 in and 4 out you use the mixer to listen to the tracks like you would in the club.
