Here is the solution to all of your time code vinal issues:

Just burn a time code cd and you are off to the races.

no more needle jumps
no more vibration skips
no more sun-warpage
no more background noise

or this one:

both have midi in and out by the way and could be mapped - by somone who know's how. So you could therortically ditch the tccd as well and use them as controllers.

and of course eveyone knows about this little guy - but numark has some firmware issues that are being resolved (according to the forums.)

I'm not so sure about everyone else's motivation for switching to computer based DJ'ing but mine was I just got sick and tired of CD's Skipping as they wear out, the same reason BTW I switch from record players in the late 80's to CDJ's

Ditch the antiquated analogue
Get the Signals in digital from source to output
This is done in fun ;)

Interesting idea. Only problem is that I've never seen a club with those installed. Remember, half the battle of TCV is you have to use the equipment that's installed in the club already. Very few, and I mean VERY FEW clubs let you just bring in all your own gear and setup. Not to mention that there are normally other DJs spinning the same night that you are. Around here that means you need to have real turntables.
