Only if you will work with tcv's or tccd's. If not you can use 5.1 soundcard like sb audigy2 nx (usb) or sblive (usb too).

Hi again
I have one soundcard already per computer (both on my PC and my laptop). I want to get an additional soundcard so that I can monitor/prelisten songs without using splitting into two mono channels. So that I minimize the cost I want to buy an external usb soundcard so that I can use it both on my laptop and desktop PC.
Since I already have one card, I don't need to buy a card with more than two channels (I'm trying to keep it cheap) :P

What does tcv and tccd mean? I'm only going to use Virtual DJ with DJ mp3 control

Thanks very much
