Topic: Can't get it workin

Hi tere,
Few days ago I have downloaded trial version of virtualdj.
v4.1rev2
I have also downloaded timecode cd.
Now I'm trying toi get it work.
1. problem
I can hear timecode in with music.
2. problem
It dosen't matter from which player I play timecode It always goes to both players.

My configuration:
windows xp pro
Athlon 64 3500+ 2.1 mhz
1Gb ram
320Gb HD
creative audigy 2zs soundcard


First I wanted to get it workin on my desktop comp but later I intend
to use it on my notebook
Here comes another question.
Which soundcard should I use?
Can't getr my hand on U46DJ so what do you recomend?

Inputs: Timecodes
Outputs: External mixer
Soundcards: ASIO driver
ASIO driver : SB Audigy 2 ZS ASIO [9000]
Input ch: chan 1&2 right / chan 3&4 left
Outout : chan 3&4 right / chan 1&2 left

In ASIO driver I can choose

ASIO4ALLv2
Creative ASIO
Nvidia ASIO
SB Audigy 2 ZS ASIO 24/96 [9000]
SB Audigy 2 ZS ASIO [9000]

On Input and output I can just revert betveen 1&2 right 3&4 left and 3&4 right 1&2 Left

I hope that this enough info.
I would be glad to post additional info just tell me what.

are you using the same soundcard for input and output?

OK I will try to use inputs on audigy and outputs on onboard.
would that be ok?

NO GO
Now It doesen't work at all.
I've used ASIO4ALL and turned on outputs on onbooard and inputs on Audigy.
Noe I'm gettyng desperate.... :(
Is there some way to send you printscreen or something so you can help me configure this.

To be more precise:

You have the line ins OPEN at the soundcards RECORD setting

And you have the line ins (monitor) MUTED at the soundcards PLAYBACK setting

That way only VDJ will hear the timecode, and it will not be played out on the speakers ;)
