Hello,
I tried using my virtual djc console and my computer at a gig for the first time last night and I had some problems. The main problem is that when I went from headphone output to the RCA inputs on my pioneer DJM-300 (battle mixer), there was so much static. The sound was not event clearly audible.
I have used the virtual DJC 3.4 before and at that time, I went from my computer's headphone output directly to a PA amplifier (1/4 inputs on the PA amplifier) and there was very little static.
I would appreciate any suggestions that anyone has. I love virtual DJ and I would love to me able to use it at a gig.
My current set up:
HP Labtop Computer: output through heardphone jack to DJC console RCAs input. From DJC console, 1/2 or 3/4 output to CD line in of mixer. Mixer RCA output to crossover device which goes to 2 amplifiers, one powering 2 Yamaha speakers and the other to a subwoofer.
Thanks again for any suggestions or ideas.
