1st off, happy thanksgiving!
After my 1st night with my real soundcard, I noticed that some songs sounded louder than others, and I used the same ripping program for 90% of them.
Audiobrabber and windows media player for the others.
Just wondering what some of you use for settings with the Firebox for volume adjustments, etc.
Also, is there a program that makes the levels even on soundfiles, so I can do it all in one batch, or is there an easy setting so that VDJ can do it for me?

I have VDJ play all videos and audio at 0db. There is a setting in VDJ Options. Make sure everything is analyzed.
They all sound the same (perfect).
Enjoy it.

In general, VDJ's autogain works well, but I find it to be a little off on some files.
Replaygain seems more accurate. I'm guessing that they aren't the same algorithm...
Are they?
