when ever the dev team are ready to release it. it has to go threw a large amount of beta testing before it can be released. because come on.... you wouldnt want to use a product that crashes now would you. hence why they test it extensivaly and perfect code so theres no errors. this isnt a very easy processes, plus they would have to gather which features are most important to impliment/perfect and im sure there is a massive list of things to do and only such a development team.
give it some time.. dont be pushy.. version 4.0 and 4.1 came out pretty recently.... or are you expecting an update every month? dont forget its free and they dont charge you for updates so you should be patient and appreciate it.
