Hi all.

Looking for some help with a problem I'm having with the DJ console.
Since hooking it up and installing all the drivers and s/w my PC (Win XP home SP1) now hangs when I try to go to standby. I'm assuming this is a conflict of some sort as it is the only thing I've added to my system for a while and this problem has only started since I hooked it up.
The PC hangs and I end up having to pull the power cord (as much as I hate doing it).

Now the obvious fix is not to use standby mode but it's just something I do when I'm away from the comp; also the system is set to go to standby after 1 hour of idle.

Has anyone else had this problem and/or found a fix/solution for it?
Other than that I've had no problems on the hardware end of this great device.

I used to have this problem on my Windows2000 notebook and it was fixed after I installed the latest console driver and firmware updates (available on hercules' site). However I'm not sure if the updates fixed the issue, or merely the fact of uninstalling/rebooting/reinstalling.

I know this probably isn't the answer you want, but I actually have had this problem with the DJ console as well as other USB devices (like external hard drives). So I don't use standby anymore on my computers.

think there is a fix at Microsoft website.. look there..

I remember reading about it.. so this seems to be the case here too
