Guys,
Was an old school user with 3.4. The loop buttons looped just nicely, 1/2 would be 1/2, 4 would be 4, 8 would be 8 etc etc.
I had jumped on the 4.1r2 band-wagon, loaded up a song, whack the 4 loop followed by play....The first 4 beats run as should. Second time around its more like 4.1beats followed by 4.2 and 4.3 etc etc.
Gone are the days that a 4/4 was a 4/4 beat or could it be something else?
If i am not clear on what i am on about, checkout the below
the numbers are the beat counts, the / is the return to loop start.
1234/1234.1/1234.2/1234.3/
It loops in the sense that it ads 1 quater to a beat on every reloop which in turn, makes a kick sound like a drunken driver behind the drumkit.
I load up 3.4, chuck on the same track and bammmmmmmm she loops just nicely. 1234/1234/1234/1234/1234/1234 etc etc.
Its killing me! haha
Any ideas. Have searched the forums but found no love.
I dont use any hardware, i am a pure mouse click, key press kid.
Cheers,
Steve.

And a reinstall of Windows.
Its a very interesting problem. When I reinstall 3.4 over the top of of 4.1r2, the loop works fine again.
If it wasnt for such fantastic sound quality with 4.1r2, i would quite easily go back to 3.4 but damn, i cant live without the quality of 4.1 now that i have had a taste.
Cheers,
Steve

Its all good.
Problem resolved. It turns out I had 2 copies of the track.
One that was in a folder stored away for setlists and one that was stored away for my personal usage. 3.4 was using my the setlist copy as it was a favourite and i was using the personal copy in 4.1r2 as i had not setup my folders/favourites in 4.1r2 yet.
My set list copies are all trimmed etc etc so they dont cause such problems
hahaha Minus 10 to me for being a fool :)
Thankyou!
