Topic: VDj 4.1 w/ BCD2000 AND trigger finger?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

before I commit to buying, I want to make sure I can use v4.1 with two external controllers.

1. one is the BCD2000 - that i see has internal support.
2. M-Audio trigger finger.

I want to make sure I can use both of these simultaneously to control VDJ. I want to map the TF's 16 buttons to:

a) trigger samples / loops
b) trigger FX
c) jump to cue points in a song.

and the 4 sliders to control parameters on the FX. can I do this?

M-Audio TF is a midi device, therefore it can be mapped in VDj to trigger any function. I am not sure about the sliders and knobs though, I've read on the forum that the midi wasn't fully implemented in 3.x to recognize progressive midi signals and I didn't test the 4.x midi to it's full extent yet.

I haven't tried assigning effects parameters to the knobs & sliders of my radium 49, I am however using them to control sample volumes and pitch, so I expect that would work too;^]
