Hi,

I am very frustrated and hope reps from this company can help as the weekend is fast approaching.

I have the laptop, the 4.0 pro software and the equipment, just have no real idea about hooking up the sound card. I followed all instructions (download new driver (1.016), then don't downlod new driver)- there are so many different messages this seems very confusing

Following all the directions has led me to a loud annoying buzzing coming from the speakers that are hooked up to the mixer.

I really need help from start to finish getting the TCCD to work.

Please.

@ ALF

It def has something to do with the power cord from the lappy. I read that post and I unplugged it and let it run on the battery and went away. It sounds ok now. I will have to figure out where I can plug in the power, maybe not the same power strip as other things.

Thanks,

You will need Ground Loop Isolator, it goes between your mixer and amplifier/speakers and hum is gone. You can use some stabilisator for power, it kills ground on my laptop and hum and buzz are gone (I couldn't buy Isolator here in Serbia but will build one).
Glad I could help
Cheers

check the model # on the u46

older model #'s including 50 is the older model and requires 1.014

the newer model # has either a 60 or 51 included in it will require 1.016

the hum needs to be ground as suggested

You must mute the monitor in the u46dj mixer ( the two "m" behind the faders)
