Hi,
I would like to sample my own loop samples. I have Cool Edit pro, and have captured a few 4 & 8 beat samples, but how do i convert them into a ".vdj" file extention so as the program can sync these. (like the ones you can download from the vdj website). When i save mine as a .mp3, they won't "sync".

Thanks for the heads up

You must create the .vdj file within Virtual DJ (it's not a simple mp3 file because it contains the loop informations)

Ok thanks.... any tips anyone has for creating the loops in vdj. When i play my loop i've cut in Cool Edit pro, it plays so seamlessly. When i import that loop into vdj, theres a 'hop" in the loop.

Any thoughts or techniques "procedures" on importing them into vdj.

Thanks

Simply load the mp3 into the deck and save it using the samples panel.

ahh ok.. disregard above question... figured it out...no need to use cool edit at all for ripping parts of songs (as i was used to and using an external sampler). Vdj has it built in internally. Pretty awesome.

btw... still waiting for mapping for the DAC if possible. Alot of the PCDJ guys are jumpin that ship and comin over to vdj.

:)
