please let me know if and how i can create a sample longer than 8 beats, i have a huge library of mp3 samples and i would like to convert them to vdj however some of them are 20 to 30 seconds long

just make a loop in VDJ, any lenght you want.
Then hit record in sampler, and it will be the amount of beat your loop is...
For jingle, you dont have to make a perfect loop, just set start and end point
