Hy Guys, just purchased VDJ 4.0 and a pair of TCV, y also bought a NUO4 which I will receive next week, y play mostly Dance and Hip Hop and sometimes I do some heavy scratching… and now I want to do video mixing, im going to get a new PC to do this and I want a fast stable system with good quality output, I would like to know what is recommended as far as video card, audio card, processor speed, RAM etc. please help me my budget is $2500 but I could go up to $3000 if needed.

Just a few recommendations: 2GB of ram, Intel Core Duo (T2600 if possible), ATI Radeon X1800 512MB ram, U46DJ sound card, good motherboard with fast chipset and biiiiig hard drive to store your videos :)

And VERY important, a nice BIG power supply to give all that stuff the power it needs. NEVER make cutbacks on power supply, a bum PSU can cause you all manner of problems! Something like an Antec 500W is nice.

That is exactly what it cost to build my latest system, 2000g of storage included.
