If I have put astist and song names on thousands of songs within the confines of Musicmatch, will that song and artist information be recognized by Virtual DJ?
Or will I have to type in all those titles and artists all over again. A prospect daunting enough to make me continue to bumble along with Musicmatch!

Yes, VDJ will see your Tag's, but it is always better to name your track file instead of using Tag's.

Exactly how should a music track file be named in order to not have to "rename" them in MusicMatch or Virtual DJ (same answer for both?)?

Your file could be best named like Artist - Track.mp3. In that case VDJ will pick them up correctly. You could also switch "Read ID3 tags" to on in the vdj config menu (Options tab). In that case your id3 tags will be read. Keep in mind that switching this on will slow down your browser in vdj.
