Ok when I am scratching there is this white box around my cursor and it lags sometimes and skips. Is there anything I can do to make it run more smoothly?

Your system is way underpowered to run VDj correctly, the minimum you need is 850mhz 128mb ram
However 128mb of ram is also rather low, i would suggest at least 512mb, this is the minimum for audio only

The recommended configuration is:
- PIV 3 GhZ computer
- 1024x768 SVGA video (nvidia card strongly recomended)
- 4.1 DirectX compatible soundcard (with front and rear separate outputs)
- 1024 MB RAM
- 200 MB free on the hard-drive
