Hi all

Have just downloaded the demo after watching a friend use the full version at a house party. Looks good and am looking forward to getting stuck in.

Have a question though...

I have a laptop with one sound card, my stereo to connect up to play the sound.

How do I get the programme to cue up tracks on the ear phones and carry on playing the main body of music through the hi-fi?

I'm guessing I probably need the full version don't i? Like most things! I can see from the on-line mannual that i should be able to do it.

Any help very muchly appreciated!

Regards,

Mat

To get the laptop and stereo working right, will i need to set it as such:

Sound card in laptop to phono splitter (I only have one phone out on laptop!!) - 1 to connect to stereo for the speakers and amp and 1 to headphones to cue.

Once full pro version held then I should be up and running right?

correct. but i can advise you buying external sound card with at least 2 stereo outputs. Look for u46DJ too ;)

I thought I might have to upgrade the sounds at some point. They the weakest thing on my laptop!

Can you recommend some good but fairly reasonable priced carrds to look at?

I see there are ones to fit a PCMCIA but not sure if they are any good.

Am really looking forward to getting this going now!!

pcmcia are good, but you can choose U46DJ too. it is actually the best card to use with VDJ and TC
