Topic: Wondering about Side A / B of Timecode Vinyl

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi all, just started messin with some VDJ Timecoded Vinyl. Just wondering what the difference is between the two sides. I seem to have a much more stable pitch on one side rather than the other.

Also, when I drop a track, the pitch adj in the program goes to -8%, but the track is playing at the right speed. My pitch adj on my TT is set to 0%. Everythingn works fine when I start controlling the Timecoded Vinyl, except that the pitch in the program shows -8% and the BPM shows wrong.

No difference between side A & B. Sometimes it's just the physical properties of vinyl that cause needles to site better on one side than another, no real reason.
