Topic: Cross fader not working . Broken ?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

For about three weeks i bought Dj Control Mp3. I have installed it and tested but the cross fader hasn't worked. Now i searched in the settings of virtual dj but i did not find any settings to resolve my problem .

Can it be a hardware problem ? I have tested the Dj Console on my Desktop Pc and Laptop ?

Can somebody help me please ?

I don't know about the DJ Control, but with the Mk2 there is an option in the HDJC config to disable crossfader. Make sure that you don't have this enabled.
 
the mk1 also mp3 control hasn`t a internal soundcard and donn`t have a pannel mixer software for locked crossfader check this.if don`t work the crossfader yet its the hardware defect and bring it back to the store and you became a new.
