Came across this crash earlier today and fortunately it's never happened to me while working. This is how to duplicate it:
1. Select the absolute mode as your time code option.
2. Select and play song #1 on deck one as usual.
3. Next, select a song which has a duration smaller than song #1.
4. Wait until the current play position on song #1 exceeds the total play time of the new track, song #2.
5. Load song #2 on the same deck while it's still playing song #1.
6. VDJ will either freeze, prompt you to close or recover.
I'm running VDJ on a dedicated laptop. Toshiba - Satellite

I've had a lot of problems with absolute mode too (Using TCV) - Crashes on me after 3-4 songs. VDJ 'smart' timecode mode works fine (Mixed for hours without any problems.)
