Can I use the Numark USB mixer for audio and X-session midi capabilities for video at the same time?

If the mixer does not have MIDI capabilities, these will work together with no problems. If the mixer does have MIDI, you should be able to use and map both providing that a different MIDI channel number is used for the mixer and X-session. The manuals that come with these controllers should explain how to set the MIDI channel.
