So yeah, I was using one of my real records with a beat on TCV, was planning on recording it and after I finish I try to play it back, and it is only the beat...is there a setting I missed somewhere that will let me scratch with a real record, because im not thrilled scratching with VDJ, just doesn't get the same sound,
PS my setup is configured to bypass the TCV's and it play's through my monitors just fine, it just wont record though VDJ.

Hi,
When you're in bypass mode, VDJ can't 'see' what your playing, the sound is routed from your soundcard input to output immediately.
If you want to record this way, you have to record your 'mixer out', ie plug your mixer record out on your computer line-in, and record with the line-in as source.
