The picture is not quite true 4 to 3 ntsc - there is a black box all around & broadcast poicture does not fill the TV/screen, which looks bad especially on a big screen - can this be adjusted?

its the job of the video card to make the output fit your TV. VDJ only fills up what it can see. Most video cards have an option in their settings to move the position of the display to fit better to your TV

I think this may depend on the video. All of my dvds are .vob, and I have noticed that some are full screen and some are not. I will check this out.
