iv got dj control hercules when i scratch on the jog wheels if i scratch and then hold the jog wheel it still turns on the pc so i cant hold the sample if u get what i mean helppppppppppppppppp

yupp
The Hercules is only good for basic scratching, because it does NOT have a touch sensitive jogwheel.
Meaning that the record does not stop when you hold the jogwheel (like vinyl, some cd decks, and xp10 does).
You can how ever make some adjustments for better scratch on the Hercules, by adopting your own tecnique. Like using the go-to-cue buttons, or make a hold button to hold the record.. etc
But if you are real serious about scratch, only timecode or xp10 will do....
