Topic: How can I tell which TCV side is active?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello all,

First, I love Virtual D, it works great!!

I have only one turntable and I have assigned keyboard shortcut "Z" to active my TCV to the left virtual turntable and shortcut "Y" to change the TCV to work with the right virtual turntable. This works perfect as I control one track my my TCV and when I fade to deck 1, I just hit the shortcut key and start cueing the track on the other virtual turntablel with my one Technics 1200 and mixer.

My question is how can I tell which side is activated to TCV? Sometimes I'm mixing and I guess i press the wrong shortcut key by mistake and then I suddenly put my hand on the TCV thinking that I'm going to cue up a track and accidentally stop the wrong virtual deck and kill the party of course :)

Is there a way to tell which one is activated so this won't happen again?

Cheers!!
