I've got this self encoded 200 MB mp3 with 3 minutes of silence at beginning, do not ask why, I happened to try dragging the wave with high mouse sensitivity to seek to the point where the music starts. Provided a fast enough wave dragging, the pointer to currently playing data seems to be able to beyond the sound buffer length or something similar thus crashing VDJ.
I can only repeat the issue with a long song that isn't getting analyzed automatically.
Pretty easy to avoid now that I know it..
