The search option in vdj 1.9 realy sucks!!!!
i tried it for a while now,but i still think it was much better befor!its so stupid to scroll always up&down looking for the surchfield.
would be much better to have a option like(right mouseclick&surchfield opens)or something like that?
i mean a direkt access&no scrolling up&down.
the possibility to search in each folder is ok,but if you need access to the hole database you have to scroll!

I have to respectfully disagree. I really like the way the search feature was improved in 1.09.

I think your point may depend on how you are organized. Are you talking about having to scroll in the leftmost window pane to be able to click on the "Database" ?
Because I work from Playlists extensively, I only occasionaly have a need to search the entire database... usually for special requests. So the new Search methods work fine for me.
Is it possible to modify your Skin to create a second "folders window" where you could keep the database in focus ?
