Topic: Skip after recording

Anyone knows why music skips at recorded mixes?that doesn't happen while i'm mixing,but after that,when i hear my recorded mix,i hear some 2/3 sec skip,and happens most when i record through a mixtable,i think that is the lame encoder............

well,i use a asus m6va laptop Centrino sonoma 2.0Ghz/1024 ddr2/ati radeon x700 128mb/realtek onboard soundcard and a USB external card(Creative Sound blaster mp3+)the last one for record.other thing i need help is:at the control pannel of the onboard soundcard(realtek) i have the options:96khz/48khz/44.1khz and "only digital output" or "without output".the frequency of the creative external sound is 48khz,so what should i choose at the options of realtek soundcard?

think you should use 44.1Khz as VDJ works in this sample rate.
