Topic: error codes, 24 and 16?

getting error codes 24 and 16 when trying to install the demo on my laptop, 24 came up when nortons asked for internet access, first time i said no figureing program has no need for internet, since i am not streaming. i tried again allowing it. keeps popping up error code 16. whats the deal? i have uninstalled it and rana reg cleaner, rebooted, no dice still getting the errors on reinstall once i run it.
