Hello,

I have to play on party tonight and I prepared all my comments in VDJ on a desktop PC. For the party tonight I would like to use my laptop. So I copied the internal database of the desktop PC to my laptop in order to have all the comments there. Untill there no problem.
When I start VDJ on my laptop apparently my original internal DB is overwriten and DJV creates a new (blank) one, although I used exactly the same name!
Can you pls help me out so that I can recover the comments on my laptop?
Thx for saving my gig!

Greetings, Peter

The drive's letters and the paths must be EXACTLY the SAME on the two computers.

You don't understand.

I mean the track's location must be the same on the two machines. Drive, directory, files must have the same name too, naturally, etc...

Maybe you have an external usb drive to store your songs. When you plug it into the laptop, be sure the drive has the same letter as when it's in the desktop.
