This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi,

I just bought an Audigy 2 NX, and I am happy with the sound, but I don't manage to configure it for speakers + phones. which plugs should I use and with which soft configuration?

First go to the speaker settings of Creative and set it to "7.1."
Then go to VDJ/config(set)/soundcards and change it to "Soundblaster Audigy" and chose 7.1.
Now you can use the green plug for speakers and the orange one for Headphones.

Have fun, it is great stuff!

thanks a lot for the indications, but I did these changes with still no luck :(
do you have this sound card as well?
has anyone used it?
I tried different connections too, but normally green is front and orange is c/sub according to the manual.
it sounds as if it was speakers+phones with 1 soundcard+splitters, when I play around with volumes and fader

The instructions are for use headphones in 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 sound card with VirtualDJ. Windows must have the configuration enable to use 5.1, then VDJ->Config->Soundcards->4.1 with headphones.

I have an Audigy 2 ZS, it works fine.

Cheers mates!

In fact, I had to install the Creative software available with the drivers on the web to control the output (stereo, 7.1,...) because the Windows setting about that were not really doing it.

Now it works great, life is nice, the sun is shining, and the vibe is growing.

keep on mixin'
