Topic: Will these specs work ok??

Hi Guys! This is my first post. I just DL'd the demo version and was playing around with it tonight, can't do much until my upgrades arrive, but i like what i see so far. I just have a couple questions for you.


I have on order right now:
(1) Intel P4 3.0 ghz CPU 800 FSB
(2) Micron 1 GB Non-ECC, 400mhz sticks
(1) External USB 2.0 Maxtor 300g HD

just need a soundcard. I know everyone is saying to get the 6600 GT or 6800 GT cards. Does it make that much of a difference whether it is 128 or 256mhz?

I also asked this question on a VDJ forum else where and got several different answers.
What is the best hookup to use between your video card and your projector? I will be using 2 projectors, so I will need a splitter for them so I still have one available for my monitor.

I currently have a VGA to s-video adapter for when I do karaoke, but is s-video the way to go or what? Run lengths between the video card and projectors will probably be about 50' max.

Any suggestions??
