Topic: what about eject and playlist buttons on XP10???

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

There are 2 more buttons on xp10 that are not attainable with VDJ. They are north-left of jog-wheel. Why VDJ doesn't use them???? You could adjust 2 more functions on xp10! In my case i would adjust cue 1 and cue 2 on them.

I think cue 1, cue 2 and cue 3 are allready affected to the buttons "in", "out" and "reloop" in the standard VDJ settings for the XP10...

But of course you can affect them to whatever you want...

In fact, they are used: they are the shift1 and shift2 buttons (correctly labeled for VDJ on the VDJ XP10 units, not on the original XP10 units).

With those, you can program two additional actions for each of the other buttons (under the shift1 and shift2 tabs in VDJ's xp10 config panel).

For example, I have programmed:
CUE1 = goto cue 1
SHIFT1 + CUE1 = set cue 1 at current position
SHIFT2 + CUE1 = delete cue 1

look at the VDJ XP10 button labeling to have a good idea of how VDJ implements xp10 buttons.
