I downloaded and installed the update and now NO videos will play! As soon as I load a video, it appears for about 1/2 second the says ERROR. I can play MP3s fine. What do I need to change?

try to adjust "extensions" in your settings.
I find out that almost all videos are playable by internal codec. Then the CPU usage is 10-25 %
If I left there the original external decoders it was like 50-60%.
(tested on nosferatu divX, see my blox for screenshot)

what does it do? Say a fatal error occured? Try to disable hardware acceleration and post what happens then...
