Now i have read the manual and went out and bought what i thought was a splitter. Basicaly i plugged my headphones and speakers in and when i started up virtual dj and used the headphone and master volume it changed the volume for left and right instead of the speakers and headphones.
I'm wondering if i neeed something like this:

If not please tell me where i can get these spilliters from.
I'm only on a demo version as i'm currenty registered on another program however i like this for mixing if i can get this one going i would like to register and get the latest version of VirtualDJ.
