Topic: Can't install the Demo?? Help

Hi,
I tried loading the demo on a Toshiba Laptop running win2000pro. I do what appears to be a successful install but upon clicking on the shortcut to open the program I get a popup error that says,

"The dynamic library DINPUT8.dll could not be found in the specified path C:\Program Files\Virtual DJ;.;C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT\system etc.. etc... etc...."

I loaded the demo on a desktop running winXP home and it worked OK.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

First, you talk abourt Virtual DJ (www.virtualdj.com) and you are on AtomixM'P3 web site.

Second, update your version of Microsoft Direct X to fix your problem.

My apologies. I did indeed mean Atomixmp3. I get confused. I will try the DirectX update.

Wait a minute. The software is called VirtualDJ2 isn't it? It's from the AtomixMP3 site isn't it?

Isn't the link to it right on the top of this page?

It's from Atomix Productions, not from AtomixMP3, and the support for Virtual DJ is on the VDJ web site :)

OK... The software that I downloaded from "this" site will not load. I rec'd the message listed in my first post.
