Topic: Which Soundcard?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I want to buy the pro version of Virtual Dj,
but i want to use my own mixer...

I searched for some soundcards which have two or more outputs.

I found the AUDIOTRAK MAYA EX USB
and the AUDIOTRAK MAYA 44 USB....

Can I use both to play two different MP3 songs on two differnet RCA Jack outputs or do i need to buy the audiotrak maya 44 with ASIO drivers???

Does anyone know a better solution???

You want to buy a "Pro" or a "Full" version ?

Because in a "Pro" version (EKS XP10 controller) you have a pro sound card include onboard

TERRATEC PHASE 26 & 28 are very good. I think VDJ does not support ASiO drivers.

I want to Buy the "Full" Version of VDJ not the "PRO" Version. Does anybody know if VDJ works with the AUDIOTRAK MAYA 44 USB or the AUDIOTRAK MAYA EX....
I read several times that the Terratec products should be very good, but I can't find teh Phase 26 or 28...
Are these older Products????
Or can you buy them only in some parts of the World...

thanx
Hans

Ok now I found the Phase models....
These are good Cards, but the don't have what I want.
I want a Card that has 4 RCA Jack Outputs (2 Channels)!!!!!!!
The Card should be USB and work with VDJ!

The Phase 26 is USB, needs NO drivers (WDM) and has up to 8 RCA Connectors (back of the card). A virtualDJ user owns it I don't remember his nick name, and it seems to work properly with VDJ (even two outputs).

The resolution of the card is 24bit/96KHz.

I use the Creative Audigy 2 NX too. It is a pretty good sound card but there's no RCA connections.
