Topic: How can I scan my selected folders instead my "whole hard drive" ?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Is there a way to scan for music only the folders i want instead the "Whole Hard Drive"? or is there a way to use the search tool in the "audio files" window?

for example i have all my mp3 songs in various folders within one folder called "my music" but i also have about 500 mp3 radio archives in another folder which i won't never play in Atomixmp3.

If someone can help me I would appreciate it.

Sorry, you can’t with atomixmp3.

I suggest you making a partition on your hard disk, to put inside the mp3 that you used with atomixmp3.
After this, you will be able to scan only this partition.

Paritioning your HD just for Atomix?? That's a little extreme.

Why not ? It’s not for atomix, it’s for your songs… You can allow 10-20-30% of your HD for partition.

By the way, if your have a better tips, please said us

partitioning your hard drive for mp3's IS extreme.... how's about the option for searching in JUST Folders instead of whole drives be implemented in the next version of the program??

sounds like a good idea to me!!
