Topic: Problems installing 2.2: not possible to update

I can't update from 2.1 to 2.2. I am using W98 and when I execute the patch to update I have an error message saying that the version installed is not possible to update.

Any help with this issue?

Thanks

uninstall version 2.1 then install the new version!
it isnt a patch but a new version!
but remember to back up the "atomix internal database" so you dont lose your bpm's etc

I don't understand your answer. 2.2 is an update for users with 2.1 I understand.

The install log file says:

*** Installation Started 12/30/2002 21:24 ***
Title: AtomixMP3 2.2 update Installation
Source: C:\ARCHIVOS DE PROGRAMA\ATOMIXMP3\ATOMIXMP3_V22_PATCH.EXE

In english is saying that the version installed is not valid and therefore can not be updated. The version I'm using is 2.1.

Please heeeeeeeeelp!!! and happy new year of course

Read j_walkers advice and do it.
uninstall version 2.1 then install the new version!
it isnt a patch but a new version!
but remember to back up the "atomix internal database" so you dont lose your bpm's etc

What ever the instalation says, keep a copy of the version 2,1 programs files and do what j_walker say
